From my own experience with twins and another young child, I know that many days it is easier to just stay home. That philosophy can make for very long days. At some point, all of us have reached our “limit” for the number of toys we can deal with. Maybe it’s based on quantity, maybe it’s based on space or your clutter tolerance, but either way, it is occasionally necessary to to a good toy cleanout. With Christmas coming, it would be a good time to start thinking about what is going to come into the house and what toys aren’t so loved anymore. If you feel like your kids have too many toys, it is sometimes hard to get excited about bringing more into the house.
